There is hidden treasure in these pieces; let us help you find it
Provincial Settee (cir. 1930's)
This piece is structurally in good condition. We have glued the frame. Originally this back and seat were hand caned. We can suggest several restoration options. The whole piece can be upholstered to save money, or best of all an upholstered seat frame can be made that does not alter the structure and the back could be caned. Pre-woven cane could be installed in the back, but the hand cane would be the best. This could be a beautiful addition to you home.
Elegant Hand Caned Settee
Pair of Provincial Arm chairs Cir 1940 ?'s
These chair are structurally sound. They need to be finished and recaned or upholstered. Originally they had hand caned seats and backs. Converting the back to pressed cane and upholstering the seat and arm pads would be an economical way to bring these back to life. The wood could be stained or painted and decorated. Lots of possibilities here...
Sheraton Fancy Side Chair
Delightful little occasional chair. This chair needs reglueing. The structure has some cracks. Also it is missing a wood band that covers the edge of the rush around the seat The band is not functional, but helps with the proportions of the piece. Originally this chair a had natural catail rush seat. Pre twisted rush would look good also.

Bent wood Arm Chair
Originally this classic chair had a hand woven seat. We can re cane it or make a very nice upholstered seat frame that is removable and looks like a cushion. The finish needs some work. It is bubbled. This is not an easy project for students as there are lots of holes. This chair is very beautiful, light and comfortable definitely worth saving.
This is one of a set of four walnut ballroom chairs. They are very delicate and pretty. We have not restored these chairs.yet. We thought that they are so interesting that we should try to find a home for them. These are light use chairs, After restoration they can be used with care. Please call to discuss restoration. We have several options depending on your taste and needs.

Maple Press Back Ladies Rocker
Nice bedroom or sewing rocker. Needs regluing and a good finish restoration. The present seat is usable. This chair would be nice with an upholstered seat with a little padding and the right material
Bentwood Rocker
Great little rocker for a sitting room. A little work on the finish, glueing and a nice fabric will bring out the comfort and beauty in this treasure.
